Code of Ethics A ‘Code of Ethics’ provides a set of standards developed to contribute to the operations and growth of an organisation. These standards are based on ethical principles that reflect the value base of the organisation. Human Rights and Freedom from Abuse The Centre recognises that people with disabilities have a right to receive services in a safe environment where their health, emotional, psychological, spiritual, educational, occupational and financial needs are adequately managed. The organisation recognises the vulnerability of consumers to potential situations of risk, abuse and exploitation and is committed to providing services in such a manner as to ensure consumers and safe. Client and Staff Protection Clients of The Centre for Cerebral Palsy are at all times entitled to receive services in an environment in which their physical and emotional wellbeing are deemed paramount. Staff are at all times entitled to work in an environment in which their physical and emotional wellbeing are regarded as key employment responsibilities.
