2012 Walk Wheel Run for Charity 
& Wheelie Big Day Out
The Wheelie Big Challenge is a fun, year long event where people from all walks of life become Champions for cerebral palsy and our Wheelie Big Day Out is a celebration of their achievements in a fun community environment.
It will be a vibrant day full of energy, cheer and merriment with families and friends also having the option to compete in our Walk Wheel or Run for Charity.

2012 Cerebral Palsy Charity Golf Day in partnership with Network TEN

The 2012 Cerebral Palsy Charity Golf Day in Partnership with Network TEN will be held at the beautiful Lake Karrinyup Country Club on Friday 9 November.
The day features 18 holes of Ambrose Fours, on one of Australia's most prestigious golf courses. A light lunch will be provided, together with a Gala Dinner and a chance to bid on exclusive auction items.
2012 Cerebral Palsy Charity Golf Day will provide a great opportunity for companies to treat colleagues and clients while raising much needed funds for people with cerebral palsy. To find out more about this year's event, watch this space!

The Centre for Cerebral Palsy Community Festival - Celebrating 60 Years
Thank you to everyone who joined us for a day of fun and to help us celebrate our 60th anniversary at The Centre for Cerebral Palsy Community Festival on 23 October at Yokine Reserve. It was a great day, enjoyed by all!
2011 Staff and Volunteer Awards
Members, staff and families of service users at The Centre for Cerebral Palsy are being invited to nominate a member of staff, program team, volunteer or service provider for a 2011 Staff and Volunteer Award.
The awards take place on Wednesday 23 November 2011 at Subiaco Oval. Nominations close on 14 October.

Thanks to a small grant from Celebrate WA, The Centre for Cerebral Palsy (The Centre) hosted a Cocktail Hour to celebrate its involvement in WA Week on Monday October 19, 2009 from 4 – 5pm at the Sir David Brand Centre in Coolbinia.
“WA Week was re-launched by Celebrate WA to provide people from all regions and sectors with an opportunity to celebrate Western Australia’s unique history, heritage and development,” says Celebrate WA Chairman, Peter Fitzpatrick.
Special guests at The Centre’s Cocktail Party included Carole Crommelin Miss Australia 1965 and 47 entrants and finalists from the Miss Australia Quest, the Centre’s premier fundraising event which concluded in 1990.
Miss WA Charity Queen 1979, Kathy Fitzgerald, who has CP raised $26,000 for the Quest that year recalls, “The Quest was a lot of hard work but…I wanted to give back in time and energy to say thanks for the services I received from The Centre”.
Other special guests at the Happy Hour include Lisa Weyell, Sandra Williams and Matt Young from the Commonwealth Bank Staff Community Chest Fund. Founded in 1917, it is Australia’s longest running employee workplace giving programme that has supported WA children for over 72 years!
The Centre’s first fundraising event in 1946, raised 3 pounds 6 shillings and 4 pence. Thanks to events such as the Miss Australia Quest, CBA’s Staff Community Fund and support received from the WA community The Centre for Cerebral Palsy has grown into one of the largest disability service providers in WA.
