First Click

The third First Click project U Can Do I.T, is underway and. aims to build on past successful experiences by providing another 12 individuals with physical and intellectual disabilities with basic computer training. Providing the right level of support for people living with cerebral palsy who have high support needs, is the key to success.

  • Programme delivered weekly over 13 weeks, in small groups of 2 (1:1 ratio)
  • Training provided by Community Support Officers (CSO) and supervised by a Speech Pathologist or Occupational Therapist (First Click funding)
  • Further support by a Senior Therapist to oversee the whole programme (The Centre for Cerebral Palsy contribution)
  • Training based at The Centre for Cerebral Palsy community based studios - equipped with accessible computers (The Centre for Cerebral Palsy contribution)
