Mealtime Management

Eating and drinking can be difficult for some people with Cerebral Palsy. They may require postural support from a seating system to sit upright. They may have difficulties with swallowing which requires a specialised diet, textured foods, thickened drinks, or other special dietary considerations.

The Mealtime Management Team can assist clients and their families and carers with the management of eating and drinking issues by providing assessment and recommendations for positioning and postural support, oral-motor difficulties, diet consistency, specialised foods, and general dietary concerns.
