Parents and Families

When a child is diagnosed with cerebral palsy, the family's lives are changed forever. This does not mean that their lives will not be full, rich and rewarding, it simply means that they may be different to what they imagined.

There may be some challenges to be overcome, yet there will also be the same exciting, happy times that all families experience. Here at The Centre for Cerebral Palsy we aim to help parents and families meet the challenges that cerebral palsy may pose head on.

You can learn more about the range of services that we offer here:

In order to assist families visiting us from regional areas, The Centre for Cerebral Palsy has a two storey flat that can accommodate up to five people available for rent. The flat is located onsite at the Sir David Brand Centre at 106 Bradford Street Coolbinia. With a fully equipped kitchen, laundry and living area, the flat is simple, affordable and comfortable place to stay whilst visiting The Centre for Cerebral Palsy.
