Create Employment - Business Links

Create Employment (previously Access Employment) is a Disability Open Employment Service that assists people with disabilities to secure and maintain employment in the open labour market. Create Employment also assists employers who are looking for skilled and enthusiastic staff.

Our focus is on ensuring that the people we place have the skills they need to perform their job. This may involve on-going support and training either in the workplace or at our offices where we can provide a range of free nationally accredited training courses.

We provide job seekers and employers with individualised training to ensure that the needs of both parties are met. We can also work with co-workers to ensure they have an understanding of what it means to work alongside a person with disability and assist with inclusion.

Our job matching and screening processes are designed to ensure that the right person is put forward for the right job. The time that we take to understand our job seekers' skills, abilities and aspirations, and our employers' job requirements and organisational culture, has allowed us to successfully fill a wide range of positions.

Employers that use Create Employment are eligible to receive wage subsidies of up to $1,500 to assist with training and development. The amount of the subsidy is dependent upon the level of disability of the employee, training that is required over and above that offered to their co-workers, and whether the employment is casual or permanent.

For further information on Create Employment and the services we offer, contact Florinda Rodi on (08) 9209 1409 or email florinda.rodi@tccp.com.au.
