Websites of Western Australian services
Many local services' websites are shown below. For others, see also DSC's list of Disability Organizations in Western Australia and useful resources and links. See also Therapy Focus's Community Services Directory and Autism Services Directory.
The following list includes Government websites and not-for-profit organization websites. It does not include private businesses. It would be impossible to maintain a comprehensive up-to-date list of reliable local private businesses that provide services for children with disabilities. Therefore, if you are looking for services in a particular area, check the white and yellow pages, talk to your healthcare professionals and to other parents, and search the internet to find the most suitable ones for your child. Remember that no one will have a complete list. Even the lists given by DSC and parent support groups may leave out some useful services. Do your searches thoroughly before choosing a service. Think about your priorities for your child, what skills you want your child to develop, how well the services will fit in with your family's schedules and other activities, and what evidence there is for the services' effectiveness.
