Report from the Board of Directors - November 2009

Major areas of activity/initiatives reported to the Board during the last month included:
- Liaison with clients and families regarding rental assistance received from Centrelink.
- Discussions with the Disability Services Commission and the Department of Housing regarding an offsite redevelopment proposal.
- Discussions with other agencies, Disability Services Commission and Central TAFE regarding a sector induction and employment programme.
- Approval from Lotterywest to progress the development of business cases and a strategic plan.
- Updating existing Policies.
- Ongoing service delivery.
- Current Union negotiations.
- Continuation of solid production and sales from Goodwill Engineering.
- Decrease in agency usage.
- Development of a Personal Lifestyle Planning model
- Establishment of a Products and Innovations role in The Centre for Cerebral Palsy.
