Major areas of activity/initiatives reported to the Board during the last month included:

Liaison with clients and families regarding rental assistance received from Centrelink.
Discussions with the Disability Services Commission and the Department of Housing regarding an offsite redevelopment proposal.
Discussions with other agencies, Disability Services Commission and Central TAFE regarding a sector induction and employment programme.
Approval from Lotterywest to progress the development of business cases and a strategic plan.
Updating existing Policies.
Ongoing service delivery.
Current Union negotiations.
Continuation of solid production and sales from Goodwill Engineering.
Decrease in agency usage.
Development of a Personal Lifestyle Planning model
Establishment of a Products and Innovations role in The Centre for Cerebral Palsy.
